Research – Mathis Rink

My work is focused on the development of a template-mediated cyclization of small peptides by utilizing well-understood coiled-coil interactions. The target peptide is reversibly attached via a lysine side chain or, to increase the scope of possible target peptides, via a thiol-containing backbone amide linker (BAL) as an NCL auxiliary. Next to cyclization of small peptides I am interested in the synthesis of bridged peptides and cyclic peptide libraries.
